Middle & High School Student Projects

(English Department)

The middle and high school English Department at Ferrahian is proud to present outstanding student  projects and writings developed in English classes.  By integrating technology and collaborative group work in our daily lesson plans and in our curriculum, we strive to make learning more meaningful, challenging, and exciting for our students.  As the year progresses, more student work will be displayed.  These will include creative and expository writing, poetry, PowerPoint presentations, and other multi-media projects.

All student samples adhere to the California Language Arts Content Standards and Ferrahian's Expected School-Wide Learning Results (ESLRs).  In addition, students have  worked through all the stages of the writing process: prewriting, drafting, revising, editing and proofreading.  We have, however, "published" their  final drafts.  The English Department aims to develop critical readers and writers, who will become life-long learners and empowered citizens of our community.  We hope you enjoy viewing our students' work!
