The Ferrahian Hyelights

The Ferrahian Hyelights is a production of the Journalism Club at Ferrahian High.

­Promotes self esteem and literacy.
­Provides students with a chance to learn responsibility, new skills which can later be

integrated with classroom studies.
­Encourages students to become leaders in their own schools.
­Provides students the chance to exercise problem solving and leadership skills.
­Gives students the opportunity to refine their interpersonal skills and meet deadlines.
­Exposes students to new points of view while also requiring them to be neutral.
­Exercises critical thinking skills in a real world setting.
